Chef Emily's visit to BIHR
Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail (BIHR) campus was proud to welcome one of USAs’ Celebrity Chef Emily Luchetti in association with the U.S. Embassy on campus earlier this week. Chef Emily is currently serving as a Dean at The International Culinary Center in New York and California, a Chairperson for the Board of Trustees of the James Beard Awards Committee, the Chief Pastry Officer for The Cavalier, Marlowe and Park Tavern restaurants in San Francisco and the founder of Dessert worthy- a movement to empower people to be more mindful of their sugar and fat indulgences. She has won several awards in the field of culinary as well.
During her visit to the campus, Chef Emily interacted with Bahraini and International students perusing their Swiss Hotel management program from the reputed Swiss school HTMi- Bahrain Campus. She also held a work based demo on some of her most popular desserts, giving the students chance to enhance and gain valuable knowledge about these desserts. During her speech addressing the aspiring future hoteliers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Chef Emily inspired them to follow the passion and work hard to achieve their goals.
