National Hospitality Institute,Oman The National Hospitality Institute (NHI), Oman was established in 1995 and has since trained approximately 3000 students in the hospitality sector. Tamkeen (formerly the Bahraini Labour Fund) Over the past 9 years, GHTEC has undertaken several projects supported by the Government of Bahrain to educate and train manpower in the hospitality, tourism and retail sectors. All of these projects have been successfully completed within the specified time frame, training over 2500 students. Currently GHTEC has two major projects under the Labour Fund initiative of the Bahrain Government, to educate and train over 2,500 students in the hospitality and retail sectors for employment in the industry over next 5 years.
